Just a desire and dedication to help others!

LDA of Indiana’s Board Member volunteers are parents,
professionals, individuals with LD and/or ADHD and other
persons who work together to make a difference in the lives
of Individuals with Learning Disabilities and Attention
Deficit Disorders, by creating community awareness,
advocating for appropriate educational services, and
offering support and information.
State Officers:
  • Those serving must be a member of the Learning
    Disabilities Association.
  • Be committed to serving for a term of 2 year.
  • Attend the scheduled Board Meetings (4-5 per year).
  • Show a dedication to furthering the purpose and
    mission of LDA.
Board of Directors:
  • Those serving must be a member of the Learning
    Disabilities Association.
  • Be committed to serving for a term of 2 year.
  • Attend the scheduled Board Meetings (4-5 per year).
  • Show a dedication to furthering the purpose and
    mission of LDA.
Professional Advisory Board Members:
  • Professional Advisory Board members consist of
    various professionals who have a vested interest in
    the field of Learning Disabilities and/or Attention
    Deficit Disorders. PAB members serve as a Board
    resource, giving advice, recommendations, up-
    dates and reports, as needed by the Board on
    issues that affect individuals with LD/ADHD.
  • Those serving must be a member of the Learning
    Disabilities Association.
  • Be committed to serving for a term of 1 year.
  • Attend one Board Meeting during their term.
  • Contribute one article for publication in our state
    newsletter.
